Hello Again

Well, it's been awhile. I apologize to the three of you out there who actually follow this blog. I was finally talked into getting on Facebook and now I am officially addicted. I will update about Christmas, John's lost teeth, and other "amazing" Hoeksema happenings soon.
Ok, so the biggest thing in our world lately has been Nick and Lauren Carter's wedding in Houston. Brad officiated, I was a bridesmaid, and John & Jack were ring bearers. They called themselves "ring barriers", but whatever. Brad did great and the boys didn't loose the rings (thank you, Lord!). I thought Lauren was crazy to want them to carry the real rings...Jack threw the pillow in the air and repeatedly rubbed his face all over the heirloomed handkerchief stiched on the top of the ring pillow. Thanks to Brad's family we had some extra help getting them down the aisle. They looked so cute and stood pretty still, so it was a success in my mind. Lauren looked just beautiful and Nick was just as teary as Brad...I wasn't sure those two were going to make it through the weekend. So, we had great fun with family and some of our closest Camp Ozark friends.

Hey kiddo, glad to have you back!? I am on facebook but found it takes way too much time. Maybe I feel like I'm not in control as much as my blog! (everyone else seems in control) I sort of feel obliged to answer friends all the time and so have to be on line all the time. Yikes...too much for me right now.
Anyway, thanks for remembering us bloggers!

I've been wondering where you were! I knew Brad was doing a wedding at some point, didn't realize it already happened. Sounds like alot of fun for the Hoeksema family!
