I like to substitute ground turkey for beef in lots of recipes like spaghetti, chili, etc. It is easy to do when mixing it with sauce of some kind. Anyway, Brad requested Sloppy Joes for supper one night this week. (Gross. I don't recall my mom ever making Sloppy Joes growing up...it makes me think of those "manwich" commercials.) So here is my SUPER fast and easy recipe! It was a crowd pleaser and I'll do it again.
Brown ground turkey in sauce pan.
Add large bottle of bbq sauce. (I used KC Masterpiece Brown Sugar flavor, suprising low in calories and YUM.)
Cover and simmer on Low 30 minutes or so.
Heap on hamburger buns. I served this with chips, fruit salad and carrots. I don't really know what goes with Sloppy Joes, but this worked.
